It's a misplaced priority in trying to create new states by the national assembly. The question is, is that the problem of Nigeria? No matter how old these states are the new states won't solve the problem of corruption, injustice and inequality in the system. Nigeria is sick.

Re: Full List: 36 Nigerian States, Their Dates Of Creation And How They Were Created by optimistfeel(m): 9:47am

Some leaders That are leading this country don't mean well for Nigerians at all ,

there is hunger and so many national problems to address ,

for the citizens ,

but no ,

they are busy looking for how to creat more states ,for the same citizens that are dying of hunger ,

this is not good at all ,

All the states created by Northern illegitimate military govts and fused people together and carved out others into a different states for their ulterior motives. A very big shame to Southern leaders that only illiterate and illegitimate northern leaders created each of the states in Nigeria to the disadvantage of southerners

Constitution. It has to pass through the National Assembly, and you know how the differences in tribes and regions affect things.

That could be why they are now talking of 31 more States grin, so every Senator can boast of creating a state and possibly becoming a godfather, if not a governor
