We Shut Down All “Miracle Centres” In Abia To Improve Education – Gov Otti by PressMyButton: 5:12pm
Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has said that several places used for examination malpractices, code-named Miracle Centres have been closed down by his administration in most parts of the State.

He also said his administration is doing everything to provide conducive learning environment for Abia children.

The Governor said this on Wednesday in Umuahia while launching the Abia State educational innovative program tagged AbiaFirst.

He said his administration has tackled the deterioration that characterized Abia State government’s education sector during the past administrations.

“I am, however glad that several steps have been taken in the last twenty months to address the malaise of exam malpractices in most parts of the State, leading to the closure of several outlets designated as miracle centres,” Otti said.

He pointed that several educational initiatives like improved teachers’ welfare, recruitment of five thousand teachers and rehabilitation of schools are geared towards producing a future generation of leaders for the State.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Elder Goodluck Ubochi, said the ABIAFIRST initiative aims at re-imagining Abia’s education system and focuses on quality teaching, improving basic education, reforming secondary schools, integrating digital learning, and enhancing career education and skills development.

Lol, believe this at your own peril. While we thought Anambra was the headquarters of Mmesoma Miracle Centers, Abia is beating chest and saying we dey here.

But Ipob keyboard warriors were always denying that they have been stat padding both Jamb and WAEC scores through Miracle centers.

The last Jamb top scorers, SE was missing in the top 5 since Mmesoma was bursted.

Funny thing is many Nigerians are product of miracle centres...

Re: We Shut Down All “Miracle Centres” In Abia To Improve Education – Gov Otti by richiemcgold: 5:36pm

This should be replicated throughout the federation. Nowadays, most parents and even private school owners are also guilty of this nonsense. How do we expect Nigeria to prosper in this 21st century when majority of our senior school graduates are products of miracle centers? I think WAEC and NECO should also be computer based like UTME with different/unique questions for each candidate. That's the best way to put end to exam malpractice and miracle centers.

Re: We Shut Down All “Miracle Centres” In Abia To Improve Education – Gov Otti by JAMO84: 5:36pm

If you hear fake drugs developers saying they are ahead in NECO and WAEC, just know it's miracle centres. Those people will never play fair in their life. It's always wuruwuru to the answer.

Grand deception from the fake developers. It's better not to have an education at all than to have uneducated people with certificate become Doctors, Engineers, Accountant, Lawyers, Teachers etc...
A sad situation sharing the country with large population of sectional cheats.

You want spoil business for Waec Staff. Miracle centers are a reflection of poor teaching and learning. Most schools in South East, students spend 2hours in the farms before commencing academic learning. Pay teachers well to drop side hustle and focus on their jobs only.

Stop clowning yourself with your unrealistic dreams.

Computer based for a country that has the highest number of children out of school? Without stable electricity despite APC’s promise 10 years ago?

How many of the 774 LGAs have computers in all schools?
